So, I discovered that it is generally not a good idea to post open requests on one's LiveJournal. :3

_fantasmo_ requested a flying hippo, which I normally would never have done were it not high time to give her some "thank you" art for all the art she's gifted me with. I really am no fan of hippos because they are some of the most disgusting animals on the planet. (Did you know that they spin their tails like propellers to fling their own dookie everywhere when they're pissed? UGH.) So anyway, I decided they weren't cool enough to fly. However, I think this turned out to be more ridiculous-looking than if I'd actually drawn one actually flying. X)
